Robyn Miles practices in the areas of real property and strata property law, land development and business law. Ms. Miles regularly advises clients in all aspects of land development, from the subdivision, zoning and municipal approval process, to preparation of easements and covenants, review of title issues, filing strata plans for single and multi-phase developments and completing financing transactions on behalf of institutional lenders, investors and developers. She has acted in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, involving the acquisition, development, financing, sale and lease of commercial real estate properties, specifically relating to hotels, shopping centres, industrial properties, apartments buildings, resort time shares and fractional ownership properties. Ms. Miles also specializes in the preparation of disclosure statements for residential and recreational properties involving complex hotel management and rental pool agreements. In her practice, she is responsible for overseeing the completion of multiple development sales on behalf of vendor developers, completing residential purchase and sale transactions and advising on a range of strata property law matters.

Ms. Miles graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1995, and earned her Bachelor of Laws Degree from UBC in 2000, taking time between school years to travel abroad, throughout Europe, South East Asia and Turkey. Prior to joining Lando & Company, she completed her articles with a national firm and practised primarily corporate commercial and construction litigation for two years at Church & Company.

Ms. Miles is a member of the Real Property and Business Law Sections of the Canadian Bar Association, the Association of Women in Finance and the Women's Executive Network. She volunteers for the CBA Women Lawyers Forum Mentoring Program and the Rethink Breast Cancer Charity.

Ms. Miles speaks conversational French, having spent her early years in French immersion in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She maintains a keen interest in leadership development, plays competitive volleyball year round and enjoys camping, skiing and any opportunity to spend time outdoors.
